
FINALLY.
After so long, I finally had the time to not just go but visit and experience the National Museum of the Philippines. I may not be able to see all of them, being able to see the works of some of the amazing artists in our country. Definitely, it wasn’t just a place where you see collections of artifacts or paintings. We all know that it’s more than that. By visiting museums, we don’t just see their works. We find out the history behind them. We participate in the community. We get to share our opinions with other people. This is probably the reason why I don’t go to museums that much although I love it. I don’t wanna go for the sake of going or for Instagram. I want to learn something. I want to get inspired.

I just want to end this with the quote by Cesar Cruz “Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable”. I couldn’t agree more Art is such a powerful thing it makes us feel a LOT of emotions. That painting by Papo de Asis really disturbed me — but in a good way!
