She was signed to Sony as a songwriter at fourteen-years-old. She wrote an ENTIRE ALBUM by herself at nineteen-years-old (that was insanely successful). She plays six instruments. Let me know if any of the others can claim all of those three things.

It is not only about the singing. And, if we are talking voice, I’ll admit she doesn’t have a powerful voice, or a wide range, but that is certainly not all there is to it. She has improved dramatically, vocally. She actually sings really and truly beautifully, especially when it’s just her and a piano/ guitar.
