I have a life long fear of speaking in front of others as I had to do in speech classes. I took them because I thought they would help overcome my fears and make my speaking better organized and be fact based if that was needed.

While my ideas were good and have been helpful when writing they didn’t help while talking. I do not have the same issues if I’m in the audience questioning the speaker although I’m still nervous

When I stand up in front of people, even those I know fairly well and like, my mind goes blank and my vision gets blurry, good bye notes, but the most disturbing for me is the inability to keep standing without passing out. If I were to try speaking before others now I’d have to have some good medication on board
