I am running.

And I am fast.

So fast infact, that you can’t see me from the dust blinding you as I pass.

My shadow cannot keep up.

It falls and I leave it behind.

I am running alongside the wind, hand in hand.

And as i do, i become nothing.

Everything, runs with me

My world and it’s colours

They run too, and like me, they blurr

And I am invincible,

Because I am invisible,

And as I run, I am less than a ghost

Because I am nothing.

I am running.

  • I wrote this poem in 2012, at the age of 19- in those days i often felt like a ghost, running.
