Have you ever felt like you just aren’t satisfied with your handbag collection? Some of you may have too many bags which can result in a poor bag being neglected and shunned to the back of your closet. Others may feel like there’s always a piece missing from their collection and can never seem to find the right bag for the occasion. If you find yourself in either of these places and need to add to or cull your collection, read ahead to discover the secret of how I achieved Purse Peace.

The Work Bag. In my opinion, the Work Bag is the most important piece in your collection. This is the bag you take to work, if you didn’t already figure that out from the name. To some, a work bag may be a large tote while others may prefer a medium to large sized top-handle. No matter what you prefer, a work bag is essential. Decide what type of style work bag you prefer based on your usual workplace dress code. If you dress more casually at work, perhaps a tote is your best bet. A tote looks great with casual styles and, depending on the tote you choose, can be dressed up on those occasional meeting days. If you wear more dressier, corporate style apparel, a medium to large top-handle that you can hold like a brief-case or in the crook of your arm may be ideal. This type of bag is dressier and matches great with a pant-suit and jacket or even a blouse on those rare days you want to dress a tad bit more casual.
