Good article 𝔖π”₯π”žπ”―π”¬π”«π”’ β„Œπ”¬π”²π”―π”¦. Some of it does, however, smell of fallacious Golden Age thinking. In many ways things are better today than they ever have been in human history.

Why so many people seem to yearn for the days toiling in the dirt I can’t understand. I’m not suggesting that modern society doesn’t have problems. But many of them are not unique to our times, they merely evolved from problems of the past…Of those problems that are unique to our time (and there certainly are some), their solutions exist within the human psyche, not in some rosey-colored vision of the past.
