5 years ago… The Sixers lost game seven of the semi’s to the Boston Celtics, who went seven with the eventual champion Miami Heat.

They then made an all-in trade for Andrew Bynum, sending out a bunch of young players and picks. He never played for Philly because of knee injuries and left the team with very few assets.

They’ve tanked for three seasons, partially because several of the best players available to them in the draft were players that required them to wait (Embiid, Saric, Simmons).
