Do you hear yourself?
Caitlyn, of the North.

Couldn’t agree more. Well, maybe I could but then I’d just be a loud jerk they’d have to throw out of this here coffee shop.

Few things as humbling as an audio book. I’m in the middle of one now from my essays and sometimes things look good in print but sound not so fluid when spoken. I wish I had recorded the essays at the same time as I had written them; I’m learning a lot. But the audio will be slightly different and that will have to do.

Reading stories back is a good strategy. An author should get comfortable hearing their own voice anyway, both voice and “voice.”
