I’m gonna disagree strongly on this assertion, Mike only in that my experience has been vastly different. I find my online relationships as deeply intimate as some of my in person relationship. Conversely, I find some of my in-person relationships as thinly veneer as some of my screen relationships. I can’t explain it, I’m sure some smarter psychologist or social scientist can far better than even my best attempt. I just accept that some digital people in my life are as real and intimate as some in person.
