Most of that career advice that appears in media pieces is also really bad advice for men — maybe for different reasons that produce different but equally bad outcomes — but still just really bad advice all around.

Sixteen years of HR and it amazes me what employees think they have “rights” to in a corporate machine or any other organization that involves more than a few people. Sure, some of it is blatantly illegal but most of it is just listening and acting to advice given by media that has no skin in your game.
