Naming specific products in legislation is always a bad idea. It creates monopolies. EpiPen was guided expertly into profits through the use of stealthy lobbying, public opinion and just sheer brute force. If you want to win in Washington, make sure you get born into the right family!
Ever so slight disagreement, though… the “free market” is a really bad counterweight to power and money. The free market would have all of us working an entire day for a mouthful of bread and some dirty water. Maybe.
