Take a google maps look at Englewood, Ohio, 45322. There are several wooded areas that are fairly dense and could accommodate such meetings. But the entrances to and from every such park have hi-def cameras, not trained specifically at the park entrances (I’ve seen the surveillance room in the police station,) but they pick up quite a large swath.
This is a town of 26,000 in the damn middle of nowhere Ohio and every square inch of this city has several cameras covering it. I only think that our model is replicated everywhere else across America. It happened while we were sleeping, thinking small-town America was wholesome and pure, free of terrorists, etc. But with fear run amok and the tech toys so tempting, with little else to do, our governments turned their sights inward on us.
So while the forested areas are probably safe, the meta-data that they can piece together will nail us. I’m probably already being tracked right here, so please don’t heart me.
