Oh man where do I start. All my life I have just imagined how great it would be to finally obtain a degree from college. Well not all my life. In high school I remember having a convo with my mom about dropping out and stating the reasons why school was not cut out for me. As a first generation latino in this great US of A, all I was told by my parents was “get your diploma and you’ll be ok”. I figured I could just get a regular job and work my way up. Fortunately my mother threatened to kick me out the house unless I got my ass to class. This was the best thing that happened to me. Now here I am about to graduate from SFSU with a business degree and couldn’t be happier. Now as I obtain that diploma in 2016, I will dedicate it to her and wish her the happiest of mothers day! Cheers all!

PS.

Never give up, you are your biggest obstacle, don’t be who you think you are but be who you want to be! Stay positive!
