Transcending time and sonic somberness in a roller coaster of charm, serenity, humor and whirlwind symphonies, Los Angeles Philharmonic (LA Phil) will perform Schubert and Beethoven at 11 AM on Friday, February 16, 2024. The Los Angeles, California based orchestra is set to perform their own majestic rendition of Schbuert’s Symphony №6 (performed in C major, D. 589 (“Little C-major,” seasoned Maestro and Classical Choral Singer Gerard Saguto explains) for the main program. Following an intermission, LA Phil will pay homage to the great Beethoven with Symphony №7. Beethoven is Saguto’s all-time favorite composer and a great inspiration for the A Cappella Singer, Classical Choral Composer and Aspiring Maestro.

Captivated by more than just Ludwig van Beethoven’s wonderful sonic creations, Gerard Saguto is deeply inspired and influenced by Beethoven’s story as an individual. As a major supporter of music for mental health, Saguto truly believes that there is power in embracing the therapeutic nature of the creative process. He has studied Beethoven extensively, from an art therapy and psychiatric perspective. The composer’s creative genius speaks volumes to Saguto’s long-founded belief that emotion and expression of thought an emboldened through the process of creating music.
