Apple’s long history of pissing people off by killing stuff

“And Thursday it announced plans to discontinue the Thunderbolt display, the only monitor in the Apple store.”

Although a lot of people have an opinion on Apple’s move killing the current display, most of them do not realize that the companies strategy is not to rush things.

The expectation for Apple is to re-introduce a new display next fall, they just don’t notice the customer upfront. While these are speculations, it is just to easy to hate Apple without mentioning possible reasoning behind decisions.

I think this is a nice article, but in the end it is only a long list of facts.

By the way

“It was nonetheless discontinued in 2015, because Apple.”

Apple did nog discontinue the Magic Trackpad, but replaced it with a new one. http://apple.co/28VeavO
