Dear DFRLab,

You have shown your obvious bias and alliance with Bellingcat in the number of your earlier posts.

At least some of these posts included faked “investigation results”.

I must say that it makes your credibility a little tainted.

“One slight clue lies in the phrase “ProPublica is alt-left #HateGroup.” This is a non-native rendition: it omits “an”, which is a characteristic failing of Russian speakers, but also of other language groups.”

The main clue to such “non-native rendition” is that it is a tweet, as such the message is limited to 140 char.

The easiest way of making a message shorter without any changes of meaning is the removal of indefinite and definite articles.

P.S. Some of the Russian language posts by allegedly Russian speakers “uncovered during the investigation” are using very non-Russian like syntax.

And it goes far beyond using or omitting indefinite and definite articles.

The misuse of Russian language by some of these uncovered “Russians” is to an extent of literal translation of English idioms from English to Russian.

It is highly unlikely that any native or even confident Russian speaker would say anything like that.

Despite the fact the DNRLab “investigation” uncovered this inconsistency it still carries on with the same assertions that the commenters/bots are Russian based.

In fact the assumption that these commenters/bots may be USA based makes considerably more sense.
