Great article and matches my experience with swarm nodes well. One caveat worth noting — other services on the ingress overlay network won’t start if you also expose them on the same externally facing port.

If you just expose the port itself, it’ll map to a port in the 30000–32767 range which you can then find via `docker service inspect <service>` and then mapping the GCP LB to that port. This ensures you can have several copies of the same service servicing different requirements, and it doesn’t matter at the LB layer.
