We know you have lots of questions about this feature, so let’s get right into it.

What’s Cashback?

Cashback is our brand new feature that rewards you with cash for being a good borrower! 🙌

By repaying loans on time, you can receive up to 100% cashback on the interest of the loan, making an interest-free loan possible! 😀

What qualifies as an ‘on-time’ repayment?

An on-time repayment is a payment made on or before 11.59pm on your scheduled due date(s). Payments made after this will not be eligible for cashback. ⏰

Who can get a cashback? Just new customers, right?

Cashbacks are available to all Carbon borrowers! Whether it’s your first day on our service, or perhaps you’re a Carbon veteran, you can earn always cashback when you repay your loans on time.

How do I claim my cashback reward?

• First, you update your Carbon app to the latest version on the Play Store
• You select one of the offers available on the new ‘Cashback’ tab available on your loan offers page
• When you get the loan, make sure you repay it on time!
• Once payment is confirmed, your cashback amount is instantly credited to your Carbon Wallet! 💃

Which of my loans are eligible for cashback? Can I get it on a 6-month loan?

The cashback reward is currently available only on 7, 15 and 30-day loans. We’re committed to reducing the cost of debt across all our loan tenors, so stay tuned for updates! 📺

I currently have a running loan. Can I still apply for a new cashback loan?

No. For now, you can only apply for a cashback loan when you have no other active loan obligations. When you repay your current loan, your cashback loan will be right there waiting for you!

How long will these rewards last?

This isn’t a time-limited promotion. Cashback is now a standard Carbon feature, and so it’s here to stay!
