This week, we’re excited to announce that we’ve submitted our app to the Apple and Google Play Stores! Once each version is approved, we’ll have a final QA (quality assurance) period. During this time, we’ll also be promoting the upcoming app. We’ll announce a release date for the app for both the Apple and Google Play stores once the app is approved.
Last week, we transitioned our app to production and added several new features. To transition the app to production, we set up a Pro Node using QuikNode’s node hosting service.
Using The App
You can sign up to get access to the ELIX app at elixirtoken.io. We’ll inform the remaining Beta signups once the app is out.
Creator Portal
We’re working on adding new creators to Boost, our crowdfunding platform. You can become an early creator by signing up here. If you need ideas for Boost, think about projects for crypto podcasts, wallets, games, smart contract development, crypto summaries, or even customized accessories.
New Features
We’ve added several new features to make the app more convenient and customizable. First, we’ve added the ability to toggle Touch ID on and off in the More page. Here’s what that looks like in the updated More page.
Secondly, we’ve added the ability for each user to select their preferred gas price within the app. These gas prices are pulled from ETH Gas Station, so they’re constantly updated in real time. Check out this new features below:
We also switched the wallet storage to use secure storage by default as we move to mainnet, which allows for encrypted storage of sensitive information. This provides additional security for special cases where native storage is lacking, such as if the data is saved in a backup.
