As a seller, you can now create shops to sell your products online for free. You can create a Pocket shop by importing items directly from your Instagram. The best part is you pay 0% commission on sales. You can also open multiple shops and add your staff to manage orders.
Escrow
This feature allows you to shop (buy) with confidence. It eliminates the fear of getting scammed by online vendors — Pay when you’ve received your order. As a seller, it guarantees that you get your money when you deliver.
Negotiable products
This is particularly useful for people who want to sell off their used household items, clothes, shoes, bags, gadgets, etc. You can now make the price of any item you’re selling negotiable.
Markets
This feature allows you as a seller to promote your products or services for a wider reach and as a buyer, this allows you to find anything you’re looking for with ease. (Tip: Subscribe to markets you’re interested in for updates)
Transfers
You can now transfer money to any bank account in Nigeria using the Pocket App. However, transferring money from your Pocket to another person’s Pocket (P2P 😉) is incredibly fast and never fails. #GoAndVerify
Get Paid
You can now get a customised account number for your business when you open a Pocket shop. When you receive funds in your Pocket from your customers or friends, you’ll get an instant notification and update to your homepage.
Nearby products
As a buyer, you can see products or services closest to your location and as a seller, you get more visibility on your items from buyers close to you.
Chat
As a seller, you can use this feature to clarify or communicate further details about an order before you ship/deliver and as a buyer, you can use this feature to follow up on a purchase that you’ve made.
Smart Alerts
As a seller, get an instant push notification anytime a customer makes a purchase and as a buyer, you get notified when your favourite seller adds a new item.
Smart Settings
This allows you to make fast updates to your shop products, price, quantity and a whole lot more. You can add multiple team members to your shop and choose what each staff have access to.
Seller Metrics
As a seller, your trust score, ratings, response time and endorsements help you sell faster.
Security
You can now log into your Pocket app with a secure PIN, rather than a password. You can also log in to your account only one device at a time.
