This is the sequel to the pilot post in our new series, “The Triangle’s Best.” In The Triangle’s Best: Instagram Accounts, Part I we covered some of the best Instagram accounts in Raleigh. Here, we’re showing everyone else some love, with some of the best in the rest of the Triangle.

In honor of summer being arguably the most Instagram-worthy time of the year around here, we’re breaking down some of CARY / DURHAM / CHAPEL HILL’s best Instagram accounts. These featured accounts are some of the best at not only keeping you up to date on general happenings around the entire Triangle, but also for being just plain awesome and fun-to-follow. If you’re not already one of The Research Triangle Photo Relay’s 10,000+ followers, hop on board! It’s a unique, collaborative project where different locals hold the baton everyday to give you a glimpse into their everyday lives in the Triangle. You can even sign up to hold the baton yourself! Awesome concept, awesome photos, awesome people.

Calling all #TriFoodies again! Take a visual tour of the Triangle’s best eats — and don’t mind your stomach grumbling… you’ll get used to it. The account covers Durham, Chapel Hill and Raleigh, so they’re bound to cover the best spots in your neck of the woods at one point or another.

Although Bit + Grain technically “canvasses [all of] North Carolina and its neighbors, from mountain to sea, in search of exceptional stories,” its founders have roots in both Raleigh and Chapel Hill. Their Instagram gives followers a glimpse into some of the amazing stories featured on their website, all through gorgeous photos that truly capture the character of NC.

Living vicariously through The Triangle Explorer’s photos make you feel like you’ve attended every community event, visited every new business and sampled every local food truck’s fare without leaving your house!
