This trend is both extremely promising and a little unsettling at the same time. More importantly it’s the future, a future we can’t avoid and need to embrace.

It raises some really important questions. When not if human labour is replaced by robotic labour what do we do with the displaced humans? This trend in farm robots is inevitable, but we need to have policies in place to both ease the transition from human to robotic labour and have an end game goal for when the majority of human labour is done by robots. If we don’t we run the risk of not only making the 99% redundant but a drain on the economy and that could lead to a very dangerous situation, class war wouldn’t be far behind IMHO.
