Why Do Developers Run Macs?
Cory House

MacBooks are great and all, in fact I’m writing this on an MBP, but are are some new Windows machines that are getting rave reviews. If you’re not a heavy app user and are primarily focused on development, it’s likely to be just as good. I work mostly with .NET and Node.js in Visual Studio and to pay as much as $1,500 for a nicer terminal experience and better messaging apps seems frivolous when you can get a solid aluminum Razer and do all you need with a few mouse clicks anyway.
