Thanks so much. My dilemma is that I was looking at ghost, substack and medium AND my Squarespace site to determine which platform would be best for my serial novel & audio. SQ is capable, but a lot of work and a lone wolf—that is, a single site; building audience is more difficult.

Ghost is nonprofit (yay) but can’t handle audio (yet) and, as you say, doesn’t help build audience that much.

Medium looked good until the fucking bot narration. (But I have so appreciated meeting folks like you). And I do worry that it still has an identity crisis.

Substack has got its act together, but I have hesitated to go all in. Not sure why. Maybe because I don’t see the platform as a community.

But having just finished my fourth draft, I believe (after my readers return with feedback) it will be time to hire a professional editor and get serious. And move to substack. I thank you for all your work and for responding. Be well.

Also, as an addendum here, I am trying to figure a way to use https://topia.io as a way for readers (and me) to interact.
