When I was very much a closet crossdresser, I did not take many beautiful pictures of myself. As I grew older, I realized that time is never on your side. You will age and grow older faster than you think.
I have seen many pictures of middle-age man crossdressing on Social Media. My guess is that most of them don’t have the courage to explore full crossdressing only until they are in there 30s, 40s or even 50s. Then they realized that they no longer look young.
As such, a few years back, I tried to do a few proper photo shoots while I still look fairly ok. In this quest, I have been to a few studio for shooting and yea, spent quite a bit of money. It isn’t easy for a guy to find a studio who would be comfortable to shooting you in girl mode. While the acceptability of crossdresser is higher today, it is still quite a taboo for most people. Couple with the fact that crossdresser a don’t really have a good reputation to the masses (try googling crossdresser Singapore. Besides my blog, I’m sure the top results are porn or some crossdresser looking for hookup).
I was fortunate to find some more open-minded studio that allows me to shoot. Mostly they are studio specializing in wedding shoot. Generally I prefer them as they provide gown rental as well as makeup artist.
Overall I’m glad that I went for all those photo shoots. They will be good memories for me to keep in the future especially when I turned old.
My quest is not over. I will try my best to take as many pictures as I can. I’m not sure when I will no longer be “unsuitable” for a shoot. But looking back at these pictures will surely make me happy.
