Just saw a New York Times article this morning regarding law prof., Ms Rao, an Indian-American lawyer and academic. There’s scant praise from the Left for *this* strong minority woman. Surprised?
But there’s some hope, some honesty. Six Democratic Senators voted to confirm Ms Rao.
“I’m hopeful about working with Ms. Rao to eliminate unnecessary regulations while protecting Missourians’ health and safety. … we are very excited about the expertise you bring.” — Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.)
“ Instead of demonizing those who choose to work in the federal bureaucracy, we should be immensely grateful for their service. Neomi Rao appears to appreciate that point.” — Cass R. Sunstein, liberal Dem. who directed OIRA from 2009–2012.
Did you see any of that in the above or other typically “fair and balanced” mainstream media accounts? :)
