Thanks for putting in words what I often feel like telling my daughter who is sixteen but cant get myself to say. How do you explain the testosterone driven rapaciousness of young men out for some fun. It freaks me out I when she goes out with her friends. I know she can take care of herself. Handle most situations with dignity & composure yet the father / protector in me cant help but worry. As for finding the ideal man yes most daughters seek an alter ego of their father. I hope she measures her future spouse by the yardstick of my personal example. That probably will be my reward for bringing her up.
