WebAssembly is also a move to allow other languages to be used in place of Javascript.

Well, junior programmers that only know JavaScript can be easily trained to use better languages. And honestly, I don't know any senior programmer that can only code in one language.

Also, I'd say WebAssembly is very welcome among developers because they are really tired of looking for good parts in something that is basically flawed.There is a limit to what developers can rationalize.

Unfortunately, while changing the programming language (or using WASM) can increase the developers' productivity, it doesn't improve the users' security.
