The first story that caught my attention on the political news-site was the opinion piece on AI and the sudden Taylor Swift coverage.

However, after looking at the different articles, I found that multiple articles are syndicated from NBC and Today. Specifically, articles that related to trending topics and celebrities. Below are three examples; related to Taylor Swift and AI.

Another thing I noticed was that Mehdi Hasan, also contirubutes to MSNBC. The British-American broadcaster has always had controversial opinions especially in the UK.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce blasted ahead of Jets game on Sunday Night Football (msnbc.com)

I do like this portion the most because it’s a condensed area for all of the news one would want from the news site.

  • I had mixed feelings regarding this portion of the website — it seems that they're using feminism to sell articles. A portion of the webpage dedicated to thinking about your VALUE>
  • Each one of their article's details something of a women's problem, although the articles are uplifting, they are utilizing the trend of feminism to sell their articles.
  • Each of these articles does detail a big problem that women face from this idea of ‘expiration date’ to ‘menopause.’
  • These are very clearly targeted towards young women, yet each of these titles are meant to generate emotion not just intrigue.
