Truist Park is not the original home of the Braves

It’s no secret that the Braves played in Boston and Milwaukee before finding their current home in Atlanta. But did you know that Truist Park is the 9th ballpark the Braves have called home since starting in the MLB?

Most recently, the Atlanta Braves played at Turner Field until construction was completed at Truist Park. Since 2017, Truist Park has been the official home ballpark for the team.

The ballpark is surrounded by The Battery Atlanta

What came first: the Battery or the ballpark? It was actually the Battery Atlanta that came before Truist Park was even a sparkle in fans’ eyes!

Just weeks after unveiling their plans for Truist Park, the Braves let fans know about another play in their plan. That plan would be for The Battery Atlanta, a mixed-use entertainment space featuring restaurants, shops and live event venues.
