I’ve been waiting on a good Pern adaptation since I was a child! There was a computer game (I still have it… even though I’m not sure what computer these days could play it without some serious modding) that was not very good, but I played the mess out of it just for the immersive fun. I would be the first to crowd-fund a serious film adaptation.
