Nayem joined our team on January 1st, 2024, as part of his three-month internship. He recently graduated from the International Islamic University Chittagong with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering. Nayem is a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for learning and creating.

What inspired you to pursue a career in software development?
“People have different reasons that attract them to choose software development as a career. But in my case, I would say that the thrill of writing code and seeing instant output on the screen sparked my fascination with software development. The ability to create something tangible through coding increases my interest in pursuing this career. Moreover, software development offers a diverse range of working environments around the world, each with its unique opportunities and challenges. Remote work has also become increasingly prevalent, allowing developers to work from anywhere with an internet connection.”
What motivated you to apply for an internship at Gigalogy, and can you describe your daily work routine at the company?
“The opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI projects and learn from experts in the field motivated me to apply for an internship at Gigalogy. Working at an AI startup is dynamic and fast-paced. Each day brings new challenges, whether it’s optimizing algorithms, developing new features, or troubleshooting issues. Collaboration with diverse team members, thinking to implement the task, constant learning, and the thrill of contributing to cutting-edge innovations define my daily work life in this environment.”
What advice would you give to students interested in working in a Tech or AI startup?
“I would say to the students interested in working in a Tech or AI startup to keep learning and never give up. Embrace opportunities to gain hands-on experience through internships, small projects, and online courses. Build a strong foundation in programming languages, algorithms, and data structures. Networking and connecting with professionals in the industry through social media and networking platforms like LinkedIn can provide valuable insights and mentorship. Most importantly, believe in your abilities. The journey in Tech can be challenging, but staying focused on your goals and being persistent in overcoming obstacles will lead to success in the long run.”
