It sounds almost counterintuitive or that an avoidant couldn’t be codependent - yet, as I was reading your story, I was reflecting on an avoidant in a relationship using a relationship addiction as a romanticized means for ultimately fearing and refusing to find/be themselves. Always lingering in a push/pull narrative - and further creating a confusing codependency for a partner. (If that makes any sense)
