Rishi Agastya — Father of the Electric Battery — The First Electric Battery

Not Benjamin Franklin but Rishi Agastya has gifted the world the basic method of Generating Electricity…..

When you check the “Rasayan Samhita”, which was composed by Rishi Agastya, tens of thousand year ago according to Hindus, but 15000 BCE according to historians. You will find that modern science took leaves from the theories explained by the Rishi Agastya on the formation of electricity.

Maharishi Agastya was one of Saptrishi and was the elder brother of Vasishtha. The basic procedure or the method of generating electricity is based on the principles of Rishi Agastya. He stated various theories to generate clean energy thereby providing electricity with natural resources. This same principle was applied in the modern battery which we use today.

Electricity was known to The Indians thousands of years ago, when the rest of the world was ignorant about the concept of generating electricity.

For generating electricity Rishi Agastya used earthen pot, copper plate, copper sulphate, wet saw dust, zinc amalgam. He states in his text that when you place a cleaned copper plate in an earthen vessel then cover it by copper sulphate and then by moist sawdust. After that, put a mercury — amalgamated zinc sheet on the top of the sawdust to avoid polarization. The contact will generate the energy known by the twin name of Mitra — Varuna (Anode and Cathode). Water will be split by this current into Pranavayu — Oxygen and Udana Vayu — Carbon Dioxide. When a cell is prepared according to Agastya Samhita it gives open circuit voltage as 1.138 volts and short circuit current as 23 mA.

He also discovered a way to polish gold, copper and silver with a battery. The way he played with the currents and battery he was known to be as “BATTERY BORN”. Agastya’s achievement is one of the oldest achievements in India. He was one of the wisest Rishi that will be remembered due to his huge contribution that developed the nation historically.

The science is timeless and legacy was passed on from the Bhagwan and his deities to Rishis of India (Bharat).

Enormous amount of exchange of energy, fire and electricity happened whenever war was fought in ancient India.

The major weapons and the destruction they caused can be seen below :

Brahmastra, described in a number of the Purans, is considered as the deadliest weapon. When the Brahmastra is discharged, there is neither a counterattack nor a defense that can stop it.

Narayanastra, the fire missile of Bhagwan Vishnu in His Narayan avatar.

Sudarshan Chakra, a fast-spinning disc weapon of Bhagwan Vishnu which generates a huge amount of energy as it moves.

Vajra, the electric shock generator, lightning bolts of Indra.

I also travel to different places and make videos. It gives me immense satisfaction when I write about places and people that are not known in the internet.
