Wild Goddess Emerging through the Embers

Can all women tap into the wild goddess within? What does it mean to you to be a wild goddess? Living your deepest darkest passions? Going all the way in all parts of your life without a care in the world as your true feminine self?

The answers are all yes or Hell Yeah for me! I wouldn’t dream of it being any other way. What happened to the practicality, the cautiousness, the fear? What do those words mean anyway? Staying with the cautiousness kept me moving on the same path for years. I am actually feeling excited for each day as I wake up every morning. A clarity has cleared the clouds. I know to truly live my unique life is to follow my passions. This knowing has stoked the fire inside me illuminating the path and clearing the fog. Living out my dreams ignites the embers to an unstoppable wild blaze burning inside me.

I have been reading Women Who Run With the Wolves and it has been swirling in my brain. The text validates that opening myself up to my intuition, healing self perceived blocks and revolving patterns in my psyche are all parts of embodying the wild goddess within. I am awakened to reset and change my course to living to the beat of my own internal drum. The drum that awakens my primal passions in love and in life. To truly open myself to all experiences regardless of the road that it leads to. For if I give myself this opportunity to explore my deepest darkest self, it is in this knowledge that I can truly live my life. A life worth living.

Listened to an inspired impromptu talk by Amy Yamada, an woman entrepreneur who followed her fire. Huge thanks to Sonia Bueno la Torre for sharing Amy’s live video on Facebook. Amy started her own thriving business and is loving her life. These are not pipe dreams, this is reality. We are on this earth for a relatively short time so why not enjoy the ride and make the most of our time on this planet. Open up your mind, forgive, love like you never loved before, live like it is your last moment everyday for this is the gift you can give to your loved ones and to yourself. There really is nothing to lose, as Laura Di Franco says, fear is my compass to move me forward not hold me back.

Claudia Pinkola Estes explains the wildish intuition in Women Who Run With the Wolves:

Like the wolf, intuition has claws that pry things open and pin things down, it has eyes that can see through the shields of persona, it has ears that hear beyond the range of mundane human hearing. With these formidable psychic tools a woman takes on a shrewd and even precognitive animal consciousness, one that deepens her femininity and sharpens her ability to move confidently in the outer world.

It is with my psychic tools that I journey through my life and pass the dark spaces and naysayers. An animal consciousness leading me to the right path. I no longer depend solely on my mental faculties to decide on which path to take because it is still operating in the mundane realities. It is the deepening of the intuition, the sixth sense, we all possess that is guiding me through the uncharted waters. I exude a fear on the surface but deep down my intuition knows what my heart and soul desires.

It leads me to places that I dream about but I am afraid to say aloud. To the places that I know I can go but have held back thus far because I haven’t listened to my inner voice. Now that inner voice guides me like an animal hunting prey, protecting their loved ones and brazenly running through the wild. A animal instinct so deep that it shines the light that has been hiding behind the dark shadows of the mind. Now that light, that wild goddess is emerging for all to see, to take notice to be aware that I am finally stepping into my own spotlight. Empowering myself to take my rightful place in the world.

Friends say I am brave. Bravery is not the right word to describe my change of course. It is an innate trust in myself, the spiritual part of myself that is finally bubbling to the surface. It is the inner knowing, all of us possess, that can guide us to unknown heights. The trust in a higher power that our dreams are not made to reside solely in our heads but to be realized in our lives. A uniqueness that makes life magical, mysterious, and breathtaking!
