Because of an emotional internal split from childhood, for the longest time I had four personalities or selves arguing for space. One, above all, argued for determination, growth, and standing firm on my beliefs. This one was suppressed by the other three, out of fear. I now follow this personality, and flavor my life with the second, emotional one. The other two no longer exist, as they were the balance selves of the main two: in Freudian language, my Ego and Superego. The Id lies below, as a strength and fire of motivation, controlled by the dominant selves. Maybe this can be classified as a pseudo-psychology, these days, but it explains me.
