We all have something we (deep down inside) know we need to do to get closer to our dreams and vision for our life.

Maybe it’s starting a business, having a difficult conversation, or eliminating toxic habits.

But we hesistate…

We hold back…

For some reason, we believe we have all the time in the world…

I’m guilty of this as well, I’m human after all.

So I’m writing this as a note to myself (and to you) as a reminder that one day this will end and the only thing worse than having failed at something is not having even tried at…

Today marks 21 days…

21 days of waking up at 5:30am.

It’s been something that I’ve been working on doing since early September 2018 but I would always come close and then relapse to waking up late.

I would tell myself that tomorrow morning would be the day but then hit the snooze button.

Or I would try going to sleep earlier but then justify in the morning that I needed more sleep and then hit the snooze.

So here’s some changes I made to ACTUALLY start waking up at 5:30 am so you can:

Get more STUFF DONE,

Wake up…

I had tried it all

The programs…

The diets…

The online coaches…

The supplements…

And yet still I was stuck losing weight and gaining back.

It was beyond frustrating to say the least.

It’s one thing to not lose weight because of not eating right or exercising.

But it’s another thing when you go to the gym 5x a week and track macros.

I couldn’t figure it out and then finally I took last Hail Mary.

I hired a nutritionist who’s specialty it was to help people like me that struggle to lose weight, to finally lose weight.

I was hesitant at first but his testimonials and results for clients were compelling. …

It’s something I had been putting off for a while but agreeing having burnt out several times, I decided I needed to explore a new way of exercising, relaxing and practicing mindfulness.

Instantly what came to mind was yoga.

Then came the typical excuses in my head…

… I don’t have time

… I’ve never done it.

… It costs more than going to the gym

I knew those were just excuses I had to ignore if I was to improve my life and mental health.

So I decided not to overthink and I went to my first yoga class that very day. …

I LOVE MUSIC. Simply put, it has incredible way of changing the state one is currently in. I like just about every genre but there is something very special about the effect of hip hop when it comes to grinding it out. Maybe it’s the flow of the music and the subtle aggressiveness of the beats that just moves people.

As you might have already noticed, the right playlist can get you pumped, focused, and ready. What I’ve done here is compile 15 songs for when you need motivation to get moving and achieve the goal for the day.

Listen to this when you’re on your way to work in the morning, taking a break before tackling your next project, or about to start a study session for that big exam. Whatever it is, this is sure to put your mind in the right place. …

When I entered college, I knew one thing was for sure that I was going to do whatever it takes to be successful. At around this time, I began to study success, obsessively. I was absolutely fascinated and obsessed with figuring out why the most successful people and highest performers in the world were where they were and why the rest were not.

Through all the books read, these 5 really changed my life, kick started my growth, and gave me the most understanding on how to reach the top.

Think and Grow Rich- Napoleon Hill

If there is one book that I would recommend to start reading first, it would be this one. It should be named the Timeless Blueprint for Success. It was written by Napoleon Hill in the early 20th century and has stood the test of time for good reason. …

It happens to all of us. We get motivated to do something then as the days go by, we lose that initial push and seek motivation elsewhere: from YouTube videos, Instagram picture quotes, and inspirational stories of people beating the odds to achieve great feats.

What I have listed here are 7 of the most motivational movies I have seen that I felt absolutely inspired to take action towards going after what I wanted.

Hopefully, after watching these it will have the same effect on you as it did with me….

1. Warrior

I could watch this movie over and over and still feel the same intensity emanating from this scene where Tom Hardy knocks a guys head clean off with such a focused and ferocious intensity. …

Like many of you, I am not very fond of needles. In fact, when I was little, I would cry profusely whenever the doctor would say he was going to give me a flu shot. Nowadays, my fear of needles has diminished significantly. In the previous year I’ve donated blood, and just recently, I went to a local acupuncturist.

What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that has been practiced for centuries. It’s based off the theory that our bodies are flowing with energy and any imbalance or illness is due to a blockage in these energy pathways called meridians. …

“The unexamined life is not worth living.”

— Socrates

There are some questions that you can’t stand to hear, much less answer. I totally get it. In the process of writing this, I re-asked myself these same questions, and I’m not going to lie, they were tough to even ask, let alone answer but by the end of this you will feel such a strong sense of clarity and relief by having done it.

Although these next 7 questions are difficult right now, it will make your life much easier later on.

1. What am I afraid of?

It is what you most fear that you must do. It might seem counterintuitive but it is what has lead many of the most successful people to where they are today. It is a necessary paradox because in seeking out that which you fear, you become fearless. It’s almost as if in the moment that you confront your fear, you begin to see it for what it really is…an illusion and, by doing so, the veil comes down. …

Hands down, Yoda is one of the most iconic characters that has lasted decades. He’s like the short green Dumbledore of Star Wars. Regardless, his wisdom shines through and leaves an imprint of impactful advice for those seeking it.

Here’s 7 of the most powerful quotes by the Jedi master himself on something that every person has faced at least to some extent in their lives: crippling fear and ego shattering failure.

Here goes…

“Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”

It is believed by the Buddhists that attachment is the root of all suffering. …
