The Boy Scouts of America has allowed girls into its Explorers program since 1971. Explorers is now under the umbrella of Learning for Life, a separate corporate entity, but it is still part of the Boy Scout organization.

I’m not one to offer an opinion on whether girls should join regular Boy Scouts, since my law practice involves representing former Scouts — men and women — who were sexually abused by their Scout leaders.
