An autocrat’s rules for the web

They might be unreasonable, but these are my terms

Don’t you dare invite me to “explore”.

I don’t want to be given the opportunity to explore something.

I might, if you’re lucky, allow you to tell me a tale, if you’re concentrating on it fully. But don’t try to facilitate an expedition.

Not only do I not want to explore, I refuse to move my arm in any way.

Don’t make me click about the page. If you insist that I have to make more than one click, don’t make me move my mouse as well. I want all my clicks in the same place. Got that?

The most I will do for you is scroll. Actually I like scrolling. I feel in control when I scroll. I like being in control.
