The Illinois Campaign Finance Loophole So Big You Could Fly a Boeing 777 Through It
Gina Natale

Things that should go without saying but I’m going to say anyway for good measure: 1.) Once again: I’m not arguing that rich people shouldn’t run for office. 2.) Class warfare isn’t helpful. 3.) Successful people are often successful because they worked hard and we need hard workers in government. 4.) It’s hypocritical to ask a wealthy person to finance other people’s bids for elected office and then tell them to sit out of the democratic process. All good points but none of them address my point: This loophole creates an unfair advantage for the wealthy.
