This week in GIN — 11th of January, 2019
Starting today, all users of the GIN Platform will receive updates about the blockchains of masternodes they host via email. For example, if Coin X releases a mandatory update and you have at least a Coin X node on the platform, we will take care of the node update as usual, but also send you instructions via email on updating the local wallet, or restarting the node if required.
The email updates can be turned on/off in your account by switching the “Send me blockchain updates for my nodes (forks, new wallets etc.)” option.
As part of the same improvements to the coin specific communication we are migrating coin related announcements to #coin-updates and keeping our #announcements channel for Platform/GINcoin specific updates. Our Discord is here, by the way: https://discord.gg/EcnRUZ4.
