This week in GIN — 8th of March, 2019
Happy International Women’s Day!
Last Monday we announced that the GIN Alpha Freighter registration ended and we selected the participants!
They are as follows:
- 15 on the platform masternodes;
- 5 off the platform masternodes.
Due to a high number of registrations of nodes hosted on the platform we had to only accept one per user and differentiate between them by the age of the collateral transaction, giving a higher priority to those with an older tx. The most recent freighter collateral transaction is on the 4th of July, 2018, so everything past that date did not make the cut.
We aim to have a public network visualisation and statistics interface by March 13th.
This last week we also published our CLO’s analysis on shared nodes services on Medium. You can find it here. It’s a long read, but if you really want to understand what’s going on in the shared masternodes services world, this will explain it.
