Joel Chapter 3 take away
Joel 3:16–17 “The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.”
Joel began with a prophecy about the destruction of the land and ended with a prophecy about its restoration. He began by stressing the need for repentance and ended with the promise of forgiveness . His message is there is still time. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Those who refuse to turn to God will face destruction…..Jew or Gentile.
