Why co-working spaces are so great

I’m an entrepreneur/web-developer, and as for any person who wants to be successful, I always search for new ways and approaches to become more productive. And the best way to stay motivated is to work in one space with like-minded people.

This is the reason why me and my friends started to work together, to push and motivate each other. But we always felt that we needed something better rather than just libraries, bars and other public spaces that were not comfortable and suitable for us.

After searching for better working places, we’ve found one (right now — the first and only one) Co-Working space VereLoft in our city Tbilisi, which provides all the things we needed. After some time working there, I’ve realised how important such co-working places are and how much they can impact on your working manners. Here are main reasons why you definitely should visit one.

1. Focus

Co-working is great because you stay focused and concentrated while working. There are no distractions (unlike other public places or even home), therefore work quality is high.

2. New connections and friends

There is no success without friends and connections. Co-working places are full of interesting, creative and educated people that you can meet.

Have a startup and looking for developer? — you can find him/her there. Same goes for designers, architects, musicians, etc. Or you can just meet person that can become your good friend and partner.

3. Atmosphere

We are all humans, and even most productive ones need release from stress. Almost all of the co-working places are designed and built in a way that can make you feel comfortable and relaxed, not only physically, but emotionally too. And the best thing is that relaxing atmosphere does not reduce your productivity at all. In addition, while having pause between working hours, most co-working places provide game rooms/zones, where you can have extra “relaxation therapy”.

Summary

As for now, I haven’t visited any other actual co-working place besides VereLoft, and I’m very happy that finally we have it here in Georgia. I’ve met amazing people here. Magnificent atmosphere, creative and talented individuals, possibility to fully dive into work without any distraction. The greatest point is that VereLoft’s team tries their best to fully support us on our little startup we are working on. I’m sure they will service every co-worker in the same way.
