The transition from web 2.0 to web 3.0, also known as the transition from the “Semantic Web” to the “Intelligent Web”, is a significant shift in the way the internet is structured and used.

Web 2.0 represented a shift towards a more interactive and user-generated internet, web 3.0 represents a shift towards a more intelligent and data-driven internet.

Web 2.0, which emerged in the mid-2000s, was characterized by the proliferation of social media platforms, blogs, and collaborative web applications. These platforms enabled users to easily share content, connect with each other, and contribute to the growth and development of the internet.

Web 3.0, on the other hand, is characterized by the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to generate and analyze data, as well as the emergence of the “Internet of Things” (IoT), in which everyday objects are connected to the internet and can exchange data with each other.
