WHY DO WE HOLD HANDS? #HoldingHandsLondon

Why do people hold hands? Is it a silly question? What does it mean? Why do we not touch elbows or shoulders instead? It looks like that there are many good reasons to hold hands. First of all we learnt it at a very young age, it reduces stress and there is a a particular pressure point, in the part of the hand between the thumb and forefinger that scientists say may help reduce very severe pain, though we’re not entirely sure why.
