Andela Boot camp #Day2
Yesterday was a busy day, we all had to combine day 0 and day 1 labs and submit all the works by 4.30Pm being new to programming python was quite challenging but the team work and assistance from our facilitator and a lot of research saw me through, am really grateful to team glow.
The day started off, as usual, I knew I had more labs to cover and a lot of research to do, our facilitator had sent us feedback of work done the previous day and going through it gave me an opportunity to improve on today’s works based on the corrections and key improvement areas highlighted.
The few days I have been at Andela have taught me a lot about programming than I ever thought I would. The self-teaching is not easy but with the determination and the growth mindset, I have focused and solved problems I would never have done before. The challenges faced today were overwhelming our facilitator advised us not to spend more than 30 minutes on a question without seeking help as one of our team members may be having a solution and she is ready to assist whenever we get stuck, but with all the research and bug fighting done on a single question, time moves fast and the knowledge gained on one question is a lot. I managed to finish up my entire questions on time today which I feel is a good sign.
Am ready for Day 3 challenges, I now feel even more prepared and eager to learn.
