Lyanna Mormont is a curious mix of the traditional and the unconventional. In a way, she is all tradition: Mormont women are leaders, and she herself is following in the footsteps of her mother, who wasn’t a “great beauty” but a warrior, as Lyanna barks at Sansa during their first meeting. Lady Lyanna isn’t above a snark or two at Sansa’s marital record (in the same meeting, she asks Sansa if she’s a Stark or a Bolton).
I would expect her to balk at the idea of having to consort with her estranged uncle. But she may come around if her king asks her to. Because she is traditional, she will obey her leader.
