At the end of 2015, it was evaluated that there is a around 7.19 billion mobile devices on the planet. This number will only continue to grow, as well as the software demand for mobile devices. As a result, the application marketplace has become extremely congested and users are more complacent than ever with all the different options to choose from. So how do top software companies stand out and get users to pay attention to them? One word…. Engagement. They craft their software in such a way that the user can’t help but use it on a regular basis. A great example is how Facebook notifies a user on their mobile device each time they have a new message or update on their profile, keeping the user constantly engaged. The next question is… how can a developer keep users engaged with their apps using this kind of notification system? Simple. Use Stamplay to connect your app to the Urban Airship API!

Overview
Urban Airship provides software companies with a mobile engagement platform and digital wallet solution. Using Stamplay, you can set up your app to send and schedule push notifications in reaction to custom events with a Task.

Trigger & Action Setup
Select what event you want to be the trigger for the task, and then select what operation that you want the API component to perform as the action. The basic logic is “when this event (trigger) happens, then do this event (action).”
