Give has a new address. It’s way easier to remember:

give.to

We’ve wanted this since the very beginning but couldn’t afford the asking price of the person that was holding it (despite the fact it was sitting vacant since 2010).

A stroke of luck, a dash of patience, and a dose of persistence in knowing what we wanted brought it back to us. Lo and behold, 1 week ago Give moved to its new and permanent home. We’re thrilled.

Why not Give.com?

Well, for one, give.com is actively being used. More importantly, give.to is better. Language is important to us, and while we’re okay with certain aspects of technology shaping our lives, we prefer to use proper language for something like an address (a core part of our identity). That’s why all of our artist addresses read like a sentence:

give.to/caribou

If you have the thought “I’d like to give to caribou,” you can perform that action by typing your intention into the address bar of your browser. Not only that, Google loves to match searches directly with addresses. If you search for “Give to Caribou”, you are more or less asking for give.to/caribou. Again, this brings Give one step closer to you.

We’re very happy about our new home. Come over and say “hi!”
